Today was full of feeling horrid. And after work the shops called my name to buy dvds and warm cozy things and drugs to make the pain go away... and black jelly beans.

Sunday, came too soon.

And with it, it didn't bring much spectacular.

I woke up at 9 am, naturally..ish, thanks to sunlight, something I haven't seen in the morning for 6 months. I'm not sure if I am happy about this or if it annoys me. Either way... Sunlight. It's gotta be good.

Drove to victor to see my nan. Upon finding the fish and chip shop was closed, we went hunting.

Saturday brings a couple of photos.

It rained all morning as far as I can remember. So I walked outside barefoot and without a jumper, it was cold, but I took photos of the blossoms anyway.

I used to be able to take really lovely photos of blossoms, I guess the location makes it all the more different.

In the background, if you look close, you can see a very nice looking blossom tree, covered in white, fully blossomed... Mines a little slow apparently

And todays significance, I moved... just to the bedroom next door.
I will miss my 3x3 box and its amazing wall paper and carpet, being able to sleep in thanks to the window that never shines light. My tiny home for 6 months, I'll have to get used to a bigger place now :)

I didn't take this photo, Carly did. Bit it goes with the set. Me, spinning in a carpark.

And that brings us to friday, after a ridiculous shit week at work, its the weekend. Who knows what it will bring, hopefully beautiful things. Perhaps the blossom tree will have more to offer and there will be beautiful sunlight. But until tomorrow, I will not know.

He likes to sleep on my bed, and sometimes snores. But he is a good alarm clock.

Well, my housemate had to clean them, so they were drying in the loungeroom... creeping me out.

I ran out of daylight before I could get to a camera.
So, its a lamp. Taken with my phone.

I kinda figured most of these photographs will be taken with my phone, seeing as I rarely carry a battery charged camera with me these days...

I was driving down south when the sun was setting and almost got my phone out to take a photo... But that would have involved either stopping or crashing.. So I just didn't.

I started this blog as a photo a day style blog

I clearly failed at that.

So, here I am, trying again...

My mission is to take a photo a day and upload it here.
It doesn't have to be perfect
It just has to be proof that when I saw something that was beautiful, interesting or inspiring, I made a record of it.

I really liked Fremantle. It was big and full of nice things. Like this here shed, building, piece of architecture.

I didn't think I was a fan of photographing buildings. But when one with this much texture comes into your sights, what else can you do?

Can't wait to get this in the dark room for enlarging and cropping etc.

I think the sun was rather setting at this point, so a slow shutter speed was probably use, I really cant remember and I should write it all down. But thats me, lazy

More Trees?

Trees In Kings Park, Perth.

To take a photograph of these trees, my family made me climb Jacobs Ladder. Any of you who have done this whilst suffering from the flu, would know my pain. It hurt. I think I stopped breathing for a while there. I got there and it was well worth the pain. The view over Perth, The Swan River and South Perth was glorious.

Sometimes I forget how big the world is.

I have decided that not having adequate programs for cropping etc is an actual pain in the butt. One should never be without software.

Can't wait to actually print some of these shots to get exposure and contrast etc right. Should be an interesting venture.

I recently went on a family holiday to Perth.
I will show some photographs

Here are pictures of palm trees near the Swan river in Perth city.

I am currently with out photographic paper. So these will mainly be scanned from the contact prints... then probably cut out using powerpoint. Coz thats how I roll.
